Calling all little boats and pontoons… under 32 feet, that is. This is the Shootout event for you. The Li’l Boat & Pontoon Poker Run will hit the Lake on Friday, Aug. 21.

Border Xpressions owners, Jim and Kelli Case, are the instigators of the event. They saw a need and jumped into action, sponsoring the first-ever poker run for smaller boats in 2014.

The Li’l Boat Poker Run gives these smaller boats and pontoons their own day on the water, running to different stops, drawing cards, having a fun day on the Lake all the while promoting the Shootout, raising money for a great cause and at the end of the day possibly winning a little cash and a few prizes. Last year’s maiden event netted participants more than $3,000 in cash and prizes from various sponsors for the event.
