The 3rd Monday in February is designated as Washington's Birthday, more commonly known as Presidents' Day. Did you know that the newly formed United States celebrated Washington's Birthday in the 17th century while George Washington was still alive? It wasn't until 1885 that a federal law that made it a national holiday.
